As the victim?

If you are shot and survive it is likely that it will take you a long time to get over the emotional impact that this will have on your life. You might be scared about going out alone or have flash backs about the day that it happened.

As the offender?

If you shoot someone you will aim carefully and watch the result of what happens after you pull the trigger. You are likely to remember this image for the rest of your life.

If you have a cool head, steady hand and a safe weapon you will hit your target. If it is your first time you will be nervous, shake, hesitate and it is very likely that you will miss. Firing a gun you will have to take the responsibility for the damage it causes.
